Dry Needling
Get relief from muscle pain and soreness with targeted trigger point release. This technique involves inserting a thin needle into the skin to relax tight muscles and reduce soreness. Dry needling targets muscle ‘knots’, causing a spasm that helps reset and repair the tissue, providing lasting relief. Our practitioners use only single-use, disposable needles for your safety. Functional Movement Screen FMS
Don’t wait for pain. Stay injury free with a proactive athletic movement screen. This screening tool identifies potential movement issues before they cause pain. Just as routine blood pressure checks help prevent heart problems, FMS helps you maintain better movement and avoid future injuries. FMS consists of seven tests assessing flexibility, core strength, balance, and motor control. A score below 14 indicates a higher risk of injury. By working with your MOTUM practitioner, you will work to improve your FMS score through targeted corrective exercises. Benefits of FMS include:
